The Community Has Spoken

With a record turnout during an “off year” primary election, over 80% of voters said “Yes” to the Referendum and ended long-standing restrictions against the sale of beer, wine and spirits in Swarthmore.  Thanks to all for a spirited and respectful conversation around this issue for the past 5 months, and thanks to the dozens of volunteers who helped facilitate the dialogue.  Remember that this is one baby step towards progress in our Town Center.  We look forward to further engagement and collaboration across the community as we continue this journey.
